Senior Security Engineer

 

At UWM, we are seeking exceptional talent for a key role within our Information Security team, with a specific emphasis on cloud and endpoint security. As a Senior Information Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in administering the infrastructure that supports our rapidly expanding team in the Financial Services industry.

 

This position will report to the Information Security Team Lead and is essential for developing and implementing security processes and solutions that protect our cloud environments and endpoint devices. You will be responsible for the ongoing assessment and compliance with required security guidelines across our enterprise computing landscape, ensuring robust security measures are in place.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Must Have Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security roles with a focus on cloud and endpoint security.
• Extensive experience with cloud security tools and concepts, as well as endpoint security procedures.
• Strong ability to understand and communicate security concepts effectively with the Information Security team, IT Operations, and Application Development teams.
• Highly ethical with excellent written communication skills and outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Nice to Have Qualifications:

• A four-year degree in a relevant field or equivalent post-secondary education and experience.
• Industry-recognized certifications such as MS-500, AZ-500, or Security+, specifically related to cloud and endpoint security.
• Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry.
