Senior Data Scientist
Skills
- Proficiency in Python for data modeling and manipulation.
- Advanced SQL skills for querying large datasets.
- Strong foundation in statistics, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Experience with recommendation engines, targeting systems, and ranking models.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Snowflake, and workflow tools like dbt and Airflow.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence product decisions through data insights.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data scientists to build and refine models for personalized recommendations, user targeting, and segmentation.
- Lead personalization projects involving modeling, experimentation, and production implementation to improve user retention and experience.
- Build and deploy machine learning models including recommendation systems, ranking models, and targeting algorithms.
- Design, execute, and analyze A/B testing and experiments to assess personalization strategies.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data Engineering teams to operationalize personalization models.
- Develop maintainable codebases and contribute to reusable pipelines, feature stores, and evaluation frameworks.
- Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
