Mechanical Engineer 1

Join our fast-paced and passionate team as a Mechanical Engineer 1. As we scale, you will be instrumental in building our foundation from the ground up. This is a dynamic, hands-on role for a self- starter who thrives in a fluid startup environment. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies, work closely with leadership, and develop and implement engineering practices that support our mission and growth. Your key responsibilities are as follows:

• Work independently and in a team while communicating with the manager and teammates.
• Use educational background, experience and reasoning skills to plan, collect and analyze data/information and communicate the process and the results for assigned tasks.
• Use tenacity, patience, self-discipline and passion for excellence to responsibly make and keep made commitments.
• Use every opportunity to grow competency through mentorship, curiosity, communication, exposure and initiative.

Experience: A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

Skills:

• Basic understanding of material properties, components, mechanisms, fabrication methods.
• Basic understanding of structural, heat and mass transfer theory.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical CAD software and quantitative analysis/programming tools and hands-on experience with basic machine shop tools.

• You're passionate about building systems from the ground up and comfortable with ambiguity and change.

The expected annual salary range for this position is $70,000-$120,000.
