Job Summary
Responsibilities
Perform genomics experiments, including molecular cloning, sample preparation and library construction for bulk and single-cell transcriptomics and epigenomics sequencing.
Assist with mouse husbandry, surgery, and tissue dissection.
Maintain detailed lab records and contribute to lab organization and protocol development.
This job provides technical and administrative support in a laboratory environment performing basic laboratory techniques, research and analysis under direction.
Complies with institution, state and federal regulatory policies, procedures, directives, and mandates.
Performs other related work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Minimum requirements include vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field (not typically required to have a four-year degree).

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in biology, neuroscience, or a related field.
Experience:
Previous experience in molecular biology or biochemistry.
Experience with mouse handling and procedures is strongly preferred.
Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail.
Interest in neuroscience, genomics, and gene regulation.
