Summary of Job Duties:

The Postdoctoral Fellow will engage in science, organic chemistry, wet lab work, paper writing, presentation, teaching and mentoring, grant writing, leadership and management.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD in Chemistry with preferred emphasis in organic chemistry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with polymer chemistry

  • Experience with organic synthesis

  • Experience with NMR, MALDI-TOF, Chromatography, and Glovebox.

  • Experience with writing and presentation

  • Experience with Grant writing

  • Interpersonal skills including leadership, management, and mentorship

  • Good oral communication and mastery of English Language


Additional Information:

This is a 1 year appointment, renewable based on the need for the position, availability of funding, and continued satisfactory level of performance in the role.

$50,000
