Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Lead Retail Branch Development initiative, providing oversight for key new builds and renovations; as well as corporate real estate and workplace (CREW) partners to ensure delivery of a quality result within budget and schedule; frequently interacts with external providers (e.g. project managers, architects, GC's, design vendors).
2. Oversee assigned strategic real estate initiatives, with notable risk and complexity, at a programmatic level from conception to completion to ensure achievement of business needs and provide accurate documentation and costs for project modeling.
3. Lead (SME) providing oversight for outsourced construction project management.
4. Develop a Retail Branch Development playbook with policies, procedures, and established metrics and objectives.
5. Implement a data driven approach to monitor health through dashboards and risk assessments. Facilitate regular status reviews with stakeholders and leaders.
6. Solve routine and unique problems of high complexity by analyzing possible solutions using construction experience, judgment and precedents.
7. Focus on enhancing knowledge of Truist's processes, culture and clients. Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
8. Identify and resolve technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges with the delivery of assigned programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree (ex. Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field) and 7-10 years of corporate real estate experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Solid understanding of construction methods, standard processes, and the ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
3. Strong Program Management capabilities including experience with project management software and reporting tools.
4. Ability to manage complex competing priorities using analytic and interpersonal skills. Experience presenting to and collaborating with Executive and Senior Leadership.
5. Ability to solve problems by leveraging principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the real estate operations discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Banking or financial services experience.
2. PMP certification
3. Relevant real estate professional certifications.
