Mid-Level Data Analyst

What we are looking for

Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Mid-Level Data Analyst to support our federal customer

Location: Remote. The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA. 

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

• Data analysis and reporting using the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Power Point, and Power BI) and other business and business intelligence tools

• Working with clients to elicit, refine, and document requirements

• Participating in client data calls, working with clients to determine reporting requirements, and writing technical documentation

• Verifying data quality to ensure accurate analysis and reporting

• Gathering requirements for reporting purposes

• Documentation of work products, processes and methodologies

• Planning, prioritizing and executing in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment

• Make recommendations for data products and gathering techniques that align with customer's business and analysis goals

• Accomplishes department objectives by communicating job expectations and priorities, providing professional growth opportunities, and evaluating results

What you bring

Experience, Education & Training: 

• 5+ years of proven experience in data analysis

• 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools (Power BI is preferred)

• Strong background working with Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of SQL query development and general database principles

• Strong written and verbal communication on complex subject matters

• Able to rapidly respond to changing requirements and priorities

• Able to prioritize and multi-task across numerous work streams

• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through

• Ability to effectively manage ambiguity, anticipate problems, and take decisive action

• Preferred experience with Department of Defense (Army Corps of Engineers)

Clearance Requirements:

Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for potential access to classified information. Accordingly, US Citizenship is required.
