ITAD SOURCING (decommissioned servers)

Position: ITAD Sourcing Specialist (Decommissioned Servers) Company: Trio Supply Chain Solutions Location: Winston-Salem, NC Type: Full-Time Trio Supply Chain Solutions is seeking an ITAD Sourcing Specialist focused on decommissioned servers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in sourcing and acquiring decommissioned server assets from various clients and industries, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and client-specific requirements. Your efforts will contribute significantly to our IT asset disposition (ITAD) services, providing a sustainable solution for businesses looking to responsibly manage their IT infrastructure. Responsibilities will include identifying potential sources for decommissioned servers, negotiating purchase agreements, and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their needs. You will conduct thorough evaluations of available assets, assess their potential for refurbishment or recycling, and work with the engineering team to coordinate logistics and processing. Additionally, maintaining accurate records of all transactions and assessments will be crucial for compliance and reporting purposes. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with prior experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably related to IT assets. Strong negotiation skills, an understanding of electronics and server hardware, and knowledge of ITAD processes are essential. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, are critical for success in this role. This position requires a proactive approach with a focus on building long-term relationships and fostering collaboration.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Prior experience in sourcing, procurement, or related fields with a focus on IT assets preferred.
• Strong understanding of electronics, specifically server hardware, and IT asset disposition (ITAD) processes.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for record-keeping and compliance.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
