QA Automation Lead
Skills
- Strong expertise in automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, REST-assured, Postman, PyTest.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience architecting solutions for UI, API, data validation, and mobile testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with test management platforms like TestRail.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement modular, scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, mobile, and data testing.
- Select appropriate automation tools, languages, and libraries.
- Define coding standards, reusable components, and best practices for test development.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and continuous reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to embed automation in the software development lifecycle.
- Track automation metrics and maintain visibility through dashboards and reports.
- Integrate automation results with TestRail test management.
- Mentor and upskill manual testers and junior engineers transitioning to automation roles.
- Develop and maintain automation strategy documentation and onboarding guides.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
