Traba is launching an AI-powered roll-up strategy for industrial staffing, and we’re looking for a Founding Corporate Development Lead to build the engine from the ground up. You’ll shape our acquisition thesis, run the first deals end-to-end, and help turn a fragmented industry into a category-defining platform.
You’ll work directly with our Head of Strategic Ventures as well as the broader leadership team and investors to identify high-quality acquisition opportunities, model their impact, and ensure smooth transitions post-close.

Partner with the Head of Strategic Ventures to hone our acquisition thesis
Support the full deal lifecycle from initial outreach through closing
Identify, source, and build relationships with target staffing agencies and adjacent service providers
Qualify opportunities based on strategic fit, market position, and deal feasibility
Coordinate due diligence across financial, legal, operational, and technical workstreams, partnering closely with the integration team to accurately model synergies
Conduct detailed financial analysis and valuation modeling
Prepare investment memos and materials for leadership and board review
Build systems and playbooks that let us scale from one deal to ten
Represent Traba in founder, banker, and investor conversations as the face of our rollup strategy
5–10+ years across Corporate Development, Private Equity, or Investment Banking, with strong preference for middle-market or lower-middle-market buyout shop experience
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; comfortable interpreting P&L statements, cash flow models, and operational KPIs
Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating with autonomy in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deals at once
Exceptional communication and executive presence
