Staff Full-Stack Engineer, AI/LLM
Skills
- 8+ years of experience in building scalable backends with Python/Django.
- Proven production experience with LLMs or foundation models.
- Strong understanding of LLM technical considerations like token limits and prompt engineering.
- Experience with system design, REST/GraphQL APIs, relational databases, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with frontend technologies including React, TypeScript, and NodeJS.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for mentoring, code quality, and engineering excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and architecture for scalable, AI-powered product features ensuring clinical safety.
- Evaluate and integrate LLM platforms, managing model selection and performance benchmarking.
- Develop backend systems using Python/Django and scalable APIs to support AI features.
- Deliver full-stack product experiences with React, TypeScript, and NodeJS as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align AI initiatives with business and clinical goals.
- Partner with data and ML teams to maintain data pipelines and AI model monitoring.
- Build internal tools for AI model impact measurement and production safety.
- Mentor engineers on software engineering best practices and AI integration.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred.
