As an Advanced Pharmacy Technician, you will be supporting a team that is dedicated to enhancing lives and being on the forefront of all we do. This department is responsible for the provision of safe, accurate, and timely medication distribution and reliable pharmaceutical care to a variety of patient populations.
Perform all duties of a pharmacy technician, may involve specialty and non-specialty drugs, and controlled substances. These duties are performed in compliance with the departmental policies and procedures providing optimal pharmaceutical care to the patients at the University of Chicago Medicine.

In this role, we anticipate that you will generally work approximately 40 hours per week. We anticipate that you will generally be scheduled to work the Day shift, between the hours of 8:00am - 5:30pm and will not be scheduled for on-call shifts. We anticipate you will be scheduled to work 100% at the Burr Ridge Campus. The days of the week are Monday through Friday. This is subject to change.

UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
