Construction Program Controls Specialist

The Greenridge Group, a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management is seeking a Construction Program Controls Specialist to support LAUSD’s (Los Angeles Unified School District) Asset Management team with budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and cost control for major construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and experience with Primavera, Unifier, or similar project control tools to ensure accurate reporting and efficient project delivery.

*Salary Range: $95K/Year-$105K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Support cost control, budget management, data reporting, and overall project control systems.
  • Develop and implement project controls tools, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct data validation, forecasting, estimating, scheduling, and financial reporting.
  • Provide documentation support for audits, process updates, and policy recommendations.
  • Review budget and scope change proposals for justification and compliance.
  • Coordinate with other divisions to troubleshoot issues related to budget, schedule, and funding.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

  • 6 years of full-time, paid experience in Project Controls, including:
    • Planning, budgeting, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost/schedule control, and project reporting.
  • 3 years as a Program or Project Controls Specialist in a government agency or infrastructure project, using tools like:
    • Oracle Primavera, Contract Manager, Unifier, Timberline Gold, or similar project management software.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Technology, Finance/Accounting, or Business Administration.
    • Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and team collaboration skills.
