Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and implement recreational, educational, leisure, athletic, senior, and life skill development programs and community events.
- Create, coordinate, and market community center recreational programs and operations.
- Coordinate activities with outside agencies and the public.
- Maintain inventory controls and conduct program effectiveness surveys.
- Hire, train, and motivate community center staff and volunteers for events and programs.
- Work with youth involved in afterschool, school break camps, and summer day camps.
- Develop mentorship programs to support at-risk youth through recreational and educational activities.
- Maintain heavy public and phone contact.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Kinesiology, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field
