Schedule: 8-hour shifts (7a–3p or 3p–11p, flexible, no overnights)
Compensation: $45–$52/hour | Overtime Available
Job Description
Overview
A brand new residential treatment facility is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to support a newly launched 19-bed adolescent residential treatment center serving girls aged 13–17 with dual-diagnosis behavioral health conditions such as self-harm, depression, anxiety, and family conflict.
This is a high-priority, immediate-start opportunity for nurses passionate about adolescent mental health and structured residential care.
Responsibilities
Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care, medication administration, and health assessments.
Monitor behavioral and physical changes and implement crisis prevention or stabilization measures when needed.
Document all care accurately in KIPU EMR and ensure compliance with facility standards.
Collaborate closely with Mental Health Technicians (MHTs), CNAs, and the multidisciplinary clinical team.
Communicate effectively with leadership regarding patient progress and care coordination
Qualifications
Required:
Active, unencumbered Texas RN license
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of behavioral health, psychiatric, or residential treatment experience
Preferred:
ACLS certification
Familiarity with KIPU documentation
Strong clinical assessment and crisis management skills
