Overview
We are hiring a Neuro Cardiac Stroke RN in Deltona, FL. This 27-bed unit manages a diverse mix of telemetry, neuro, and post-cardiac event patients, with a strong focus on stroke care and recovery. Responsibilities
Care for stroke, cardiac, and telemetry patients requiring frequent assessments.
Administer medications and therapies in line with physician orders.
Perform NIH Stroke Scale assessments and document care thoroughly.
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and recovery.
Support hospital initiatives for quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
Active Florida or Compact RN license.
1+ year acute care Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
NIHSS within 30 days of hire.
ADN or Diploma in Nursing; BSN preferred.
