Overview
Guide a busy cardiac progressive care team serving the North Dallas market. Lead clinical operations, elevate quality, and mentor a skilled nursing workforce in a collaborative culture.
Responsibilities
Own daily operations, staffing, and patient flow for cardiac stepdown
Implement evidence-based protocols and unit-based quality projects
Build physician partnerships and support interdisciplinary rounds
Monitor KPIs, budget, and supply stewardship
Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing teams
Required
BSN and active Texas or Compact RN license
2+ years recent leadership in cardiac PCU/stepdown
Prior experience in Magnet or Pathway to Excellence settings
BLS and ACLS (or obtained per policy)
Preferred
MSN or master’s in related field
National cardiac/PCU specialty certification within 12 months
