Responsibilities
- Write and post stories on all WUSA9 digital, mobile, and social platforms
- Report and update breaking news online with strong news judgment
- Manage and coordinate live streams of news events
- Monitor social media and other online sources to discover unique content
- Aggregate content for streaming platforms and collaborate with newsroom departments
- Send push alerts for breaking news or high-interest content
- Edit and manage content produced by others for digital platforms
- Pitch and develop enterprise stories suitable for multiple formats
Education
- Degree in journalism, communications, or related field preferred
- Equivalent professional experience also accepted
