Tandem is a generational opportunity to rethink how we bring new therapies to market, and our path to doing so is significantly de-risked – we have:
Exponential organic growth: We have product-market fit and are growing rapidly through word-of-mouth. Tandem supports thousands of patients every day, is doubling doctor users every quarter, and is working with the largest biopharma companies in the world.
An AI-first business model: Our approach is distinctly enabled by AI, but our business will get stronger (not commoditized) as foundation models improve. We are building durability through two-sided network effects that will compound over time.
Top tier investors: With the traction to support conviction in our model, we raised significant funding from investors (including Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Bain Capital Ventures, and Pear VC) to build an exceptional team of engineers and operators.
Our number one priority is scaling to market demand. We are looking for individuals who are high horsepower, high throughput, and hyper resourceful to help us increase capacity and grow. We move fast and need to move faster.
All full-time roles are in person in New York. You can learn more about working with us in the last section of this page.
As a member of our Provider Growth team, you will own the experience of new healthcare providers and their teams as they begin using our platform. Your job is to make onboarding fast, simple, and effective — ensuring every new user sees value early and often. You’ll run live training sessions, improve systems and resources, and help provider organizations successfully integrate Tandem into their workflows.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires both empathy and execution. You’ll work closely with sales, product, and engineering to build scalable processes, surface feedback, and help the company understand what providers actually need. Your work will directly impact how many patients get the support they need and how fast we can scale.
This is a demanding role, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You will be expected to "act like an owner" and commit yourself to Tandem's success. If you are low-ego, hungry to learn, and excited about intense, impactful work that drives both company growth and accelerated career progression, we want to hear from you.
Own the end-to-end onboarding experience for new provider organizations, from first contact through full activation
Deliver training sessions, onboarding walkthroughs, and help materials tailored to different user types (e.g., staff, clinicians, administrators)
Build repeatable playbooks and self-serve resources to help onboarding scale efficiently
Monitor activation and adoption data to identify blockers and intervene proactively
Act as the voice of the provider — synthesizing feedback and collaborating with product and engineering to improve the platform
Drive usage of key features by helping providers understand how to incorporate them into their real-world workflows
Partner with growth, support, and implementation teams to ensure a cohesive and high-quality user journey
2+ years of experience in customer success, implementation, or training, ideally in a startup or health tech environment
A strong sense of user empathy, especially for providers and staff juggling high workloads (familiarity with healthcare workflows, provider practices, or EHRs is a big plus)
Excellent communication skills — clear, patient, personable, and confident
Comfort with ambiguity and context switching; you can roll up your sleeves and figure things out fast
Ability to master new complex technology tools quickly and work with data
High NPS with your former teammates
This is a list of ideal qualifications for this position. If you don't meet every single one of them, you should still consider applying! We’re excited to work with people from underrepresented backgrounds, and we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.
