- Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and emerging needs.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, to coordinate optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, expected outcomes, and techniques for self-management.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in the field.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects to enhance rehabilitation services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments and treatment interventions.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required.
- Active medical license in the state of practice.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing a diverse range of physical disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Dedication to lifelong learning and professional development.
