Swish Breaks is redefining live shopping at scale. Headquartered in NYC, we’re the fastest-growing live commerce company in the U.S., powering 100,000+ orders per month across Whatnot, Fanatics Live, TikTok, and our own digital experiences. This isn’t a corporate job, it’s a front-row seat to building the future of live commerce. Our team moves fast, obsesses over the product, and is redefining the shopping experience for customers all over the globe. If you want to help change the game this is the place.
The Broadcast Tech Manager owns how Swish shows up live. This role builds and operates the technical backbone behind Swish’s live streams across daily rooms, marquee moments, and onsite activations. You’ll turn scrappy setups into a polished, repeatable system by upgrading rooms, standardizing workflows, and launching a flagship broadcast that defines the Swish look. This isn’t legacy broadcast—it’s modern live media across OBS, lighting, cameras, graphics, and platform-native tools from YouTube and Twitch extended to Whatnot, Fanatics Live and TikTok Live Shopping. This role is for a hands-on technical owner who moves fast, learns new tech quickly, and obsesses over quality, reliability, and streamer experience, working closely with streamers, ops, content, and leadership to make every stream feel premium.
You will:
Own how Swish shows up live, delivering streams that look premium, feel intentional, and never break in front of fans
Design the broadcast blueprint, turning cameras, lighting, audio, OBS, and graphics into repeatable setups that scale fast
Launch and level up Swish’s flagship rooms, powering marquee shows, partners, and moments that define the brand
Build plug-and-play production systems that unlock new channels, new locations, and off-site activations without chaos
Own the post-stream pipeline, ensuring clean asset capture, media management, and smooth handoff into post-production, social, and content workflows
Be the calm in the chaos, setting quality standards, documenting systems, training streamers, and fixing live issues when it actually matters
You have:
7-10+ years of hands-on experience building and operating live production systems across modern streaming platforms and broadcast environments
Real reps in live production, from creator platforms (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok), live shopping platforms to broadcast environments
Deep hands-on command of the live stack—OBS, cameras, lighting, audio, encoding, and live workflows
A builder’s track record, taking production setups from scrappy to scalable
Strong live judgment, staying cool and decisive when streams are live and stakes are high
Fast-learner energy, picking up new tools, platforms, and workflows without waiting for permission
Clear communication instincts, helping non-technical streamers look confident and professional on camera
Experience in live shopping, creator marketplaces, ecommerce, sports, and/or TCG
You are a culture warrior and thrive in expressive environments (streetwear, sports, gaming, media)
You love creators, fans, collectors, and the culture that surrounds them — this isn’t just a job to you
Model championship culture: speed, precision, no ego, no drama, high accountability
High ownership: Leaders here solve, not wait
No ego: We review, take feedback, fix mistakes fast
Speed + judgment: You ship constantly
AI-first: If it can be automated, you automate it
In-office energy: Culture doesn’t build itself on Zoom
