 As Sunlighten’s Salesforce Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing Salesforce solutions that integrate seamlessly across enterprise systems like NetSuite, Shopify, and other core business platforms.  This is a hands-on development role,  ideal for someone excited about Salesforce Lightning, custom integrations, and leveraging the latest Salesforce technologies such as Agentforce, to enhance automation and intelligence within an organization. 

 

Duties/Responsibilities:   

  • Develop scalable Salesforce components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and declarative tools. 
  • Manage full lifecycle Salesforce implementations from requirements to deployment and support. 
  • Design, build, and manage integrations with systems like NetSuite, Shopify, ERP, and marketing tools using REST/SOAP APIs and middlewares. 
  • Leverage Salesforce Flow, Flow Orchestration, and Automation Studio to streamline end-to-end processes. 
  • Integrate and extend functionality using Agentforce, and Einstein GPT to deliver AI-driven experiences. 
  • Analyze and fine-tune custom code, data model, and integrations for scalability and performance. 
  • Implement robust data security, role hierarchies, and sharing models following Salesforce best practices. 
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gearset, ensuring smooth release cycles. 
  • Perform unit, integration, and regression testing to maintain system reliability. 
  • Work closely with key stake holders of marketing, sales, customer care department, architects, and administrators to deliver impactful, user-friendly Salesforce solutions. 
  • Document every development activity, integration, customization, and configuration with precision and clarity. 
  • Maintain up-to-date technical design documents, integration diagrams, and deployment records to ensure knowledge of continuity and system maintainability. 
  • Promote a culture of transparency and traceability,  ensuring every change in Salesforce is well-documented, reviewed, and accessible. 
  • Stay ahead of new Salesforce capabilities and proactively recommend enhancements that leverage modern platform tools. 
  • Other duties as discussed and assigned. 
  • Minimum 5+ years of enterprise Salesforce development experience, with deep expertise in Lightning (LWC/Aura) and Apex. 
  • Proven success leading end-to-end Salesforce projects, including complex integrations and automation initiatives. 
  • Strong experience integrating Salesforce with NetSuite, Shopify, other ERP, and marketing systems via custom APIs or middleware. 
  • In-depth understanding of Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP services, and event-driven architecture. 
  • Experience or working knowledge of Agentforce for AI-powered automation and productivity. 
  • Familiarity with Einstein Copilot, Einstein GPT, and AI Cloud to enhance intelligent CRM workflows. 
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud for unified customer data management. 
  • Understanding Flow Orchestration, Platform Events, and Pub/Sub APIs for real-time automation. 
  • Strong commitment to maintaining thorough, consistent, and standardized documentation across all Salesforce projects. 
  • Ability to create clear technical specs, data flow diagrams, and release notes for handover and audit readiness. 
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to scalability, performance, and maintainability. Excellent communication skills, business savvy developer, product minded.
