At Sully.ai, we're not just building AI – we're redefining the future of how healthcare is delivered. Our end to end AI solutions empower healthcare providers by automating doctors’ administrative tasks, reducing misdiagnosis, and enhancing efficiency. We’re looking for ex-Founder’s to join us on our mission of saving lives.
We’re hiring exceptional technical founders, engineering leaders, and systems thinkers to join us on that mission.
Whether you’ve built core infrastructure from scratch, scaled technical teams, architected complex systems, or founded an AI-native company, we want to talk to you.
Why Founders?
We're not looking for people to slot into a rigid org chart—we’re looking for builders. You’ve designed systems from scratch, solved problems no one had a playbook for, worn multiple hats (IC, CTO, recruiter, PM) before lunch, and delivered impact under pressure.
Now you're ready to do it again with our mission of “One Human. One Doctor” and the belief that access to a doctor is a basic human right.
What You'll Do
As a key leader at Sully.ai, you’ll take full ownership of building and scaling a core function of the business, from getting into the weeds to strategy and execution. You won’t be stepping into a fully built machine, you’ll be designing the machine, testing it, and building the team that runs it. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and knows how to turn ambiguity into action. We are remote (with quarterly travel to our Mountain View office if not local).
Each of these roles will lead the creation of their respective function. While scope will differ by role, you’ll likely be doing things like:
Architect Critical Systems: Build foundational infrastructure for our AI pipelines, real-time inference systems, EHR integrations, or clinical interfaces.
Scale Engineering: Establish engineering practices, hiring pipelines, and technical processes that support speed without sacrificing stability.
Drive Technical Strategy: Evaluate trade-offs, make build-vs-buy decisions, and define our technical direction across AI, data, backend, and platform layers.
Collaborate Across Functions: Partner closely with product, clinical, sales, and operations to align engineering work with real-world outcomes.
Stay Close to Users: Build with the end-user in mind, understanding clinician workflows, latency constraints, and clinical safety requirements.
Founder DNA: You’ve built and scaled something from zero—likely as a founder or co-founder. You know how to move fast, juggle priorities, and rally a team around a shared vision. You've hired, sold, shipped, and pitched—all in the same day.
Builder’s Mindset: You’re excited by ambiguity and energized by action. You don’t wait for permission—you move, test, learn, and improve. You’ve built playbooks, systems, and teams that turned early traction into scalable growth.
Cross-Functional Fluency: Whether it’s working with product, engineering, ops, or marketing—you’re comfortable collaborating across disciplines to drive outcomes. You know how to bridge business goals with technical realities.
Customer-Centric Thinking: No matter your function, you stay close to the customer. You’re obsessed with delivering value, solving real problems, and measuring impact through data and feedback.
Startup-Ready Energy: You’re available during core working hours (6am–6pm PT) and thrive in fast-paced, distributed environments. You know how to prioritize what matters most and move quickly without losing focus on quality.
🔥 Impact the Future of Healthcare: Drive revenue growth for a company that is transforming how doctors deliver care.
📈 Early-Stage Ownership: Join as an early leader and shape the sales strategy and culture from the ground up.
🌍 Remote-First Culture: Collaborate with a diverse, high-impact team in a flexible, remote work environment.
💰 Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a competitive salary, equity, and the chance to directly influence our success.
🏆 Solve Meaningful Challenges: Tackle complex sales challenges in a rapidly growing market, making a real difference in healthcare delivery.
