Stanley Consultants is seeking a Control Systems Engineer-In-Training to work in our Muscatine or Denver office. Opportunities include developing and supporting controls and instrumentation tasks on the following types of projects: power plants, industrial automation systems, microgrid control systems, municipal water management systems, and combined heat and power (CHP) systems for universities and campuses as well as federal military bases around the world. Work closely with electrical and mechanical engineers on the design effort.
Technical responsibilities include: developing Input/Output lists for a control system, coordinating instruments in a process design with mechanical engineers, assist in the development of Piping & Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), specifying equipment needed for the design, creating network and wiring drawings, and evaluation of existing controls systems. Will Work with various control systems such as Distributed Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers.
Stanley’s Approach to Flexibility
While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule. Members who participate will be assigned a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off!
