Skills
- Proven experience shipping Python-based services
- Experience owning and operating critical production services
- Familiarity with public cloud environments (GCP preferred)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Docker, and containerized deployments
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and deploying high-availability applications (preferred)
- Experience deploying ML models to production (preferred)
- Strong communication, ownership, and product-oriented decision making
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with ML researchers, engineers, and product managers to deliver AI Voices to customers across web and extension platforms
- Deploy, operate, and optimize core ML inference workloads and serving pipelines in production
- Design and introduce architecture, tooling, and techniques to improve latency, throughput, and efficiency of deployed models
- Build observability and diagnostics tools to identify bottlenecks and instability, then implement prioritized fixes
- Ensure high availability and reliability of critical production services
- Drive technical decisions, mentor engineers, and contribute to product strategy and roadmap
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree in a related field is a plus but not required
- Relevant certifications (cloud, DevOps) are helpful but optional
