- Proven experience building scalable consumer web products
- Strong proficiency with Vanilla JS, React, Redux, and TypeScript
- Experience with Firebase or similar real-time/backend services
- Hands-on experience shipping and maintaining Chrome Extensions
- Excellent communication for remote, asynchronous collaboration
- Product-focused mindset and ability to make rapid, pragmatic tradeoffs
Responsibilities
- Ship production code for web products and the Chrome Extension regularly
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated product team (PM, designers, engineers) to define and execute roadmap items
- Participate in product discussions and influence product decisions with technical tradeoffs in mind
- Design, implement, and iterate on features that scale to thousands or millions of users
- Ensure code quality, performance, and accessibility best practices across web experiences
- Mentor and guide engineers on the team and foster a high-velocity, collaborative culture
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Continuous learning mindset and demonstrated portfolio or links to shipped work
