- 1+ years of RF engineering experience (including internships or school projects)
- Experience with antenna testing and link budget analysis
- Familiarity with digital communications concepts (BER, EVM, modulation schemes)
- Proficiency with Python or similar for data analysis
- Experience with version control (Git/SVN) and comfort in Linux terminal
- Strong technical communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to work extended hours/weekends to meet critical milestones
- Compliance with US export/ITAR eligibility requirements
Responsibilities
- Perform system-level RF analysis: antenna patterns, link budgets, co-site interference, doppler, and dilution of precision
- Test RF system compatibility and end-to-end performance including BER/EVM and system noise figure
- Develop and maintain simulation and data-review infrastructure for RF communications and sensors
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of system-level performance anomalies
- Prepare and present technical reviews, flight readiness presentations, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with spectrum licensing and regulatory requirements through analysis and test
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (required)
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on signal processing, communications, or RF design (preferred)
