Responsibilities
- Design packaging solutions for electro-mechanical assemblies
- Perform thermal, structural, and tolerance analysis using hand calculations and finite element analysis
- Create 3D models, production drawings and maintain design data
- Conduct failure analysis concerning thermal, load, vibration, and shock factors
- Coordinate with machine shops and production teams to meet project goals
- Manage hardware delivery timelines from design through integration
- Lead internal and external design reviews
- Ensure designs meet weight and rate targets using innovative methods
Education
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
