Skills
- Advanced SQL and dbt for querying, transforming, and validating complex datasets
- Proficient in Python (and/or R) for statistical modeling and analysis
- Experience designing and analyzing experiments and causal inference frameworks
- Familiarity with dimensional data modeling and collaboration with data engineering
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills to influence stakeholders
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Clinical, CS, and GTM stakeholders to define success metrics and drive data-informed goal-setting
- Design, implement, and analyze experiments to evaluate product and business opportunities with statistical rigor
- Define and maintain key metrics and dashboards that measure progress toward strategic goals
- Collaborate with Data & ML Engineers to architect dimensional data models and ensure data reliability
- Champion data governance and code quality, implementing guardrails and validation processes
- Mentor and grow junior data scientists, providing technical guidance and thought leadership
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field required (mathematics, statistics, or related)
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field preferred
