- Expert working knowledge of Healthcare EDI transactions (837 I/P, 835)
- Advanced SQL for querying and analyzing relational healthcare datasets
- Experience building or improving EDI intake pipelines, validation rules, and exception handling
- Domain expertise in claims processing, enrollment, eligibility, referrals, or prior authorizations
- Ability to investigate complex data anomalies across multiple feeds and systems
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary resource for intake of new Healthcare EDI feeds (claims, remittances, enrollments)
- Match claims submissions with remittances and reconcile split transactions/claim numbering
- Define target populations and exclusions for analysis and product needs
- Lead investigation of anomalies across payer, provider, and clearinghouse feeds
- Own data onboarding, mapping logic, and integrity validation pipelines
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Client Success to troubleshoot ingestion and matching issues
- Perform ad-hoc claims-based research and data analysis
- Define and improve EDI intake and validation frameworks and document data flows and code
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Informatics, or related field required
- Advanced degree in a related field preferred but not required
