Responsibilities
- Become a go-to expert in a specific area of the codebase while understanding the broader system architecture
- Break work into scoped milestones and deliver software on schedule with accurate estimates
- Plan and own technical testing and performance for delivered work
- Coordinate cross-cutting technical decisions and identify solutions that balance product, technical, and analytical tradeoffs
- Proactively identify and remediate technical debt before it grows
- Deliver drama-free launches and collaborate with Product Owners and managers
- Contribute to engineering standards, communicate proposals, and gain team buy-in
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Graduate degree is a plus but not required
