Position Summary
The Samsung global services team is responsible for driving Smart TV and mobile services businesses by building intelligent, integrated, cross-platform services that delight and entertain users.Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Develop the PMO function to support the Samsung TVP global org, establish and apply program management best practices and standards across teams, unifying operations and driving consistency.
• Work closely with stakeholders and design frameworks and templates for program & project management including project planning, monitoring, status reporting, etc.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, identifying and resolving dependencies across workstreams, managing the overall schedule, and delivery
• Handle day-to-day activities necessary to keep the project moving, providing accurate project
status and updates to teams and leadership. Directly own high priority programs & projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies for timely and high-quality completion of key strategic projects & initiatives that span TVP platform, ecommerce, gaming, interactive etc.
• Manage highly technical programs involving software development, product launches, or infrastructure projects, requiring deep understanding of technology lifecycles.
• Drive improvements to current processes while building scalable and growth-oriented team.
• Implement advanced methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) to optimize efficiency and scalability.
• Regularly update all stakeholders on the status and dashboards (i.e., team members, cross-
functional departments, managers, and executives). Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of program status, risks, and achievements.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience Requirements
• 15+ years program management experience managing large complex projects ideally in technology companies to lead complex software development, product launches, infrastructure projects from conception to delivery.
• 5+ years of experience managing program & project managers.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple competing projects and priorities
• Proven ability to problem solve through relationship building and collaboration.
• Experience with PMO frameworks and structures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in advanced project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, Confluence) and data analysis platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and uncertain situations, and drive clarity for on-time delivery.
• Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Computer Science, Engineering) from a top-tier institution
• Certifications in program management (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner) are highly desirable.
expected to be between $200,000 ~ $220,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
