Join Scholastic as a part-time Researcher in the Education Solutions division to help shape the future of education through qualitative and quantitative research. This role allows you to work independently and collaboratively across various teams to translate research insights into actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities: Conduct and facilitate qualitative and quantitative research, manage user recruitment, analyze results, and present findings to cross-functional teams to inform product design decisions.
Skills: 3-5 years of experience in qualitative user research, strong knowledge of UX design tools, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of the PreK-12 education market.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree focused on human behavior, design, or UX; experience in market research; knowledge of current Ed Tech best practices.
Location: This position is remote and available to candidates located in the United States, specifically New York.
Compensation: $46 - $55 / Hourly
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Researcher, you’ll play a critical role in helping the Education Solutions division develop an informed approach to how its products will shape the future of education. You will work closely with the Director, Research and across different teams with diverse products, bringing an empathetic, curious mindset, and advocate for students, teachers, and education leaders, by using our research to help guide design and product decisions. The part-time researcher is scheduled to work 21 hours per week. This role may require up to 35 hours some weeks depending on departmental needs. This is a temporary, non-benefits-eligible position through May 31, 2026.
This role reports directly to the Director, Research in the Education Solutions group.
