A strategic medical leadership role within Sanofi's Next Gen Immunology Medical Affairs organization, driving evidence-based medical strategy in dermatology and rheumatology therapeutic areas. Reporting to the Senior Medical Director, Dermatology & Rheumatology, this position requires deep expertise in biologics, innovative real-world evidence (RWE) generation methodologies, and successful launch experience to advance scientific knowledge and shape medical strategy.

Main Responsibilities:
This position reports to the US Senior Medical Director, Dermatology/Rheumatology. Key responsibilities include:
Medical Strategy & Evidence Generation
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive medical strategies for dermatology and rheumatology portfolios aligned with business objectives
Spearhead the creation of US Integrated Evidence Generation Plans (IEGPs) in collaboration with cross-functional partners
Generate innovative dermatology Real-World Evidence (RWE) that address critical evidence gaps and support clinical decision-making using existing platforms and through novel studies
Translate insights into actionable medical strategies that differentiate Sanofi's dermatology and rheumatology immunology portfolio
Scientific Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to gather insights and shape medical strategy
Plan and execute high-impact Advisory Boards that generate meaningful scientific exchange and strategic guidance
Serve as medical authority on the Medical Materials Review Committee (MMRC) ensuring scientific accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide medical expertise for launches and lifecycle management
Scientific Communications & Medical Education
Develop evidence-based scientific narratives that effectively communicate product value propositions
Lead the creation of scientific publications and presentations based on RWE studies
Drive medical education initiatives that address healthcare provider knowledge gaps and advance patient care
About You
Education: MD or equivalent advanced medical degree.
Work Experience:
5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in Medical Affairs
Demonstrated expertise in dermatology and/or rheumatology
Proven track record of successful biologic product launches
Advanced knowledge of RWE methodologies, data sources, and applications in US healthcare
Understanding of clinical development and regulatory requirements
Experience leveraging innovative RWE approaches including retrospective database analyses, prospective observational studies, and patient registries
Proven ability to translate insights into strategic medical initiatives
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain KOL relationships
Experience organizing and facilitating advisory boards
Background in medical content review and approval processes
Skills / knowledge:

Strategic thinking with ability to develop evidence-based medical strategies

The salary range for this position is:
$201,000.00 - $290,333.33All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
