Crisis Clinician

Responsibilities

Night shift

Assesses patients in the emergency room and throughout the house when requested and ensures placement according to their age, identified problems and needs.  Acts within the guidelines of LPS Statutes and Patients’ Rights. Provides crisis intervention and appropriate referrals when needed. Works within the multidisciplinary team and communicates effectively with physicians, nurses, and staff.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.      Must have current valid license as a Registered Nurse, MFT, or LCSW issued by the State.

2.      LPS certification preferred.

3.      Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

4.      Three (3) years experience in an Inpatient Psychiatric unit preferred.

5.      DMH certification required for 5150 detentions.

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.35 to $47.58. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
