Finance & Strategy Manager - job 1 of 3

Robinhood is building products to democratize finance and is seeking a Finance & Strategy Manager to partner closely with Engineering leadership. The role will drive financial planning, investment decision-making, cloud and infrastructure spend forecasting, and cross-functional alignment to support long-term shareholder value and operational efficiency.

Skills

Advanced financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting in dynamic environments
Deep understanding of cloud/infrastructure cost drivers and forecasting
High proficiency in Excel and Google Suite
Familiarity or interest in SQL, Looker, or similar analytics tools
Strong written and verbal communication to distill complex data for leadership
Proven project management and prioritization skills
Ability to partner effectively with technical teams (Engineering/Security)

Responsibilities

Serve as primary finance partner to senior Engineering leaders, advising on investments, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
Lead Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and multi-year strategic plans.
Deliver data-driven insights, scenario modeling, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Analyze and forecast infrastructure and cloud spend, understanding drivers, usage patterns, and contracts.
Collaborate with Recruiting, Workforce Planning, Procurement, and Accounting to align spend, headcount, and initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) preferred but not required
