Skills
- Proficiency with streaming frameworks (Kafka/Kinesis/Flink/Spark Structured Streaming)
- Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with Spark/PySpark or Scala
- Experience with relational and MPP databases (PostgreSQL, Redshift) and OLAP datastores (Pinot, Clickhouse, Druid)
- Familiarity with dbt for modeling, tests, and documentation
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and cloud (AWS)
- Experience with workflow tools like Airflow and data visualization tools such as Redash/Superset/Tableau
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality ETL/ELT pipelines with an emphasis on real-time and streaming data
- Collaborate with product, engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable data products
- Operate and scale the data platform, including CI/CD for data projects and on-call production support
- Implement data quality checks, testing frameworks, and monitoring for pipeline reliability
- Research and adopt modern solutions to improve data processing, performance, and observability
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (required)
- Advanced degree in a related field (preferred but not required)
