Senior Global Product Manager, Patient Identity
As a critical member of the Platform Services team within Global Product Management at Resmed, you will lead the vision and strategy for delivering scalable platform capabilities for patient identity and management that serve providers and consumers. You will represent the voice of the customer and their requirements, ensuring user and stakeholder needs are central to the development of seamless and scalable platform services.
You will define product roadmaps and requirements that align with Resmed’s person-centric care strategy, global compliance standards, and short- and long-term business objectives. Collaborating closely with UX, engineering, and other teams, your work will enable the delivery of innovative platform capabilities that enhance user experiences and accelerate system scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
Define Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear vision for Platform Services, aligning with Resmed's mission to deliver person-centric care pathways. Leverage insights from stakeholders and the market to shape the roadmap.
Drive Product Roadmap: Prioritize initiatives to establish centralized services and tools that improve operational efficiency, data interoperability, and service configuration. Focus on scalability, usability, and compliance.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with engineering, legal, regulatory, security, and other product teams to deliver platform services that integrate seamlessly across Resmed's ecosystem, supporting interoperability initiatives and standards.
Lead Agile Practices: Facilitate agile ceremonies, including PI planning, backlog grooming, prioritization, and sprint planning. Ensure the team delivers incremental value through well-defined epics and user stories, supporting engineering in their development of technical stories and tasks.
Enhance User Experience: Collaborate with UX teams to design intuitive self-service portals and administrative tools for managing configurations, roles, and permissions.
Monitor and Optimize: Utilize product analytics to track the performance of platform services, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with engineering to enhance observability and efficiency.
Enable Global Scalability: Ensure platform services are globally compatible, supporting multilingual capabilities, regional compliance requirements, and cross-platform integration to accelerate international reach.
Skills and Experience:
Strategic Leadership
Proven experience in leading high-impact, technical product initiatives, ideally within platform domains.
Ability to shape and communicate a clear strategy that supports Resmed’s Patient Identity & Management mission.
Healthcare Data and Patient Domain Expertise
Deep understanding of patient identity and management services, including record linking, sharing, and merging and identity resolution.
Experience with core healthcare data domains (patient demographics, encounters, clinical data, payor data).
Familiarity with interoperability frameworks and standards such as HL7, FHIR, IHE.
Platform and Administration User Experience
Experience with delivering multi-tenant administrative tools to provide self-service configuration experiences for app teams that also supports multi-product ecosystems.
Data Migration and Convergence
Hands-on experience consolidating or migrating patient identity and management capabilities from legacy or M&A-acquired systems into unified platforms.
Strong knowledge of data migration strategies, including ensuring data integrity, compliance, and minimal disruption during transitions.
Technical Proficiency
Solid understanding of platform service architectures, API-driven microservices, and system integration capabilities.
Experience enabling platform scalability, interoperability, and observability.
Regulatory Expertise
Familiarity with global data privacy and healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA), including experience working with regulatory teams to deliver qualified products and features.
Experience embedding compliance, auditability, and traceability into patient data workflows.
Agile Excellence
Expertise in agile practices, leading product teams, and managing product backlogs to deliver business-critical features.
Skilled in facilitating PI planning, backlog prioritization, and cross-team collaboration.
Customer-Centric Mindset
Ability to balance technical capabilities with user and patient needs.
Demonstrated success delivering solutions that enhance usability, scalability, and efficiency for providers and patients.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: $142,000 - $214,000
