Renesas is seeking an experienced technical leader to oversee and drive our 150mm to 200mm GaN on Si wafer fab technology transfers. Working within the GaN Business Division, this key role directly supports our capacity expansion and cost reduction strategies. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with wafer fab technology transfers and with leading cross-functional engineering teams.
Oversee the successful transfer, qualification, and production ramp of our latest generation of GaN Power FET technology
Work with our technology development and foundry operations team to quickly identify and solve problems while keeping the programs on track
Provide regular written updates to the management team and key stakeholders while quickly highlighting issues in a proactive manner
Apply basic program management techniques and methodologies to effectively manage and track the overall execution of the transfers
Bachelor or higher in Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related technical field
Minimum 10+ years of semiconductor or high-tech experience along with at least 5 years of direct or indirect leadership. Direct experience working within a wafer fab environment is preferred but not required
The expected annual base pay range for this position is $200,000K-$230,000K. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
