Skills
- Experience designing and specifying ground and mobile transport hardware

- Ability to develop and interpret operational metrics and budgets
- Experience working in outdoor, vessel-based, or remote operational environments
- Strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Design and develop fixed ground equipment, mobile transport systems, and offshore vessel support hardware for transporting flight hardware.
- Collaborate with vehicle design, operations, and cross-functional teams to define and implement transport requirements and engineering solutions.
- Oversee fabrication, construction, and installation of transportation and operational assets.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate with regulatory agencies throughout transport planning and execution.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and external partners to secure and validate transportation solutions.
- Develop and analyze operational metrics to track effectiveness, schedule performance, and budget adherence.
- Support broader initiatives including landing system development, launch site infrastructure, and refurbishment workflows.
- Participate in on-site and offshore operations, including nights, weekends, and travel as operational needs demand.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Relevant technical coursework or demonstrated hands-on experience in transport or heavy-load engineering
