- Familiarity with configuration management and release processes
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of 5–10 harness design engineers responsible for electrical wire harness design, routing, and integration
- Define priorities, assign tasks, and organize team execution against program schedules
- Establish and maintain harness design standards, interface definitions, channelization, and configuration management
- Collaborate with electrical hardware, instrumentation, fluids, propulsion, flight sciences, and flight software to drive system-level avionics architecture
- Support vehicle-level integration and test by developing test plans, overseeing test execution, and conducting data reviews
- Coordinate with Avionics Manufacturing to transition new harness designs into production
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (required)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (preferred but not required)
