Overview of Responsibilities

• Accurately evaluates requests for ultrasound procedures.
• Obtains patient history and symptoms.
• Performs ultrasound procedures per physicians' orders in accordance with Radiology Department policies and procedures
• Provides explanation and instruction to patients regarding ultrasound procedures.

Education/Experience

Certifications: Current registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in Abdomen and OB/GYN. ARDMS Registration is to be obtained within one year of hire date.CPR certified.
