I like tv shows and movies to name a few: Game of Thrones and Gilmore Girls. I think writing βinterestsβ on your resume is really cool because they can get to know more about you beyond credentials. Itβs great way to spice up your resume. Plus, recruiters can get to know more about you β¨

If I would add my interesting 'interests' then they would be karaoke, dancing, stamp collecting, watching nature at a conservation centre and on NatGeowild and National Geographic!

I usually include a few things about loving to travel, learning astrology, spending time outdoors, and being a big fan of mint chocolate chip ice cream.
Serving as a board member for my roller derby team. I'm not a skater with the team anymore, but being part of a self-governed group was a huge learning experience.

If I put them down, I'd include my cooking instagram, painting, and jewelry design!
Mermaiding! I have a fabric mermaid tail I enjoy wearing while swimming in bodies of water. Kids and adults love it. I take any opportunity to bring a little magic into the world.

I do historical reenactment and recreation (pre-1600s history) with an international educational nonprofit. The soft, transferrable skills I have picked up as an online community manager for nearly 15 years and a volunteer manager for about the same time period have definitely come in handy in both my professional and personal life.
My hobby has also taught me to be comfortable with academic-grade research, as well as learning to work with and manage volunteers while also being a volunteer myself - these skills have been absolutely clutch in my professional life.
