IT Director

Description

The IT Director will oversee all employee-facing technology systems at Rankings.io. This position is focused on supporting our team — not clients — by ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our internal tools and processes. They will lead the development and implementation of IT strategy, improve employee workflows, safeguard company data, and deliver seamless technology experiences that keep the team productive and secure in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the management of all internal IT systems, including hardware, software, cloud tools, and SaaS platforms.
  • Ensure cybersecurity protocols are implemented, monitored, and continuously improved.
  • Oversee IT support for employee onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day troubleshooting.
  • Develop IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks for efficiency and compliance.
  • Partner with leadership and department heads to streamline internal workflows.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors for IT services and tools.
  • Monitor the performance of IT systems and propose upgrades or improvements.
  • Research and recommend new technologies that enhance productivity and collaboration.

  • Seven or more years of IT leadership experience, ideally in a remote-first organization.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure, SaaS environments, and cybersecurity.
  • Proven ability to lead IT operations while driving strategic technology initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.

  • Starting from $130,000; pay commensurate with experience
