What we're looking for

Rain is seeking a Business Operations owner to design, scale, and continuously improve our internal processes. You’ll own the automation roadmap across teams , reduce manual work, and build the operating system—cadences, metrics, and tooling—that helps Rain move faster with fewer errors.

What You'll Do

• Map critical workflows end-to-end, identify bottlenecks, and redesign processes with clear SLAs, owners, controls, and documentation.

• Build and ship automations that integrate our core tools and data; deprecate redundant steps and measure impact.

• Stand up BI and ops dashboards for lead indicators (cycle time, accuracy, throughput, backlog) and drive a closed-loop improvement cadence.

• Run a cross-functional intake process, manage a quarterly automation roadmap, and deliver projects on time with crisp change management.

• Improve data quality and governance—taxonomy, access, audit trails—partnering with Compliance to keep us audit-ready.

• Create playbooks and enablement docs, training, office hours, so teams can self-serve and maintain high standards as we scale.

What you will bring to Rain

• 6–10+ years in BizOps/Strategy at a high-growth tech company; you’ve owned cross-functional process and tooling.

• Proven track record delivering automations and measurable outcomes

• Strong systems thinking and program management; you turn ambiguous problems into scoped roadmaps with milestones and accountability.

• Analytical chops (spreadsheets + comfort with SQL or equivalent) and a habit of instrumenting everything you ship.

• Excellent written communication and stakeholder management

Desirable but not mandatory

• Hands-on experience with no/low-code and integration tools

• Experience applying AI/LLM tools to automate operations (assistants, triage, data validation, document generation).

Compensation will vary based on experience from $175,000-$240,000
