About the Team:
The Content & Search team powers our user’s ability to create, find, organize and share the learning content that powers over 1B learning interactions each week. We operate full stack, leveraging the latest LLM, frontend, and service technologies to create effective and delightful experiences that scale globally to all the world’s learners and learning material. We meet students where they are, operating cross-platform and AI-first to maximize learning outcomes.
About the Role:
As Director of Engineering, Content & Search you will be responsible for our core efforts in getting users to the right learning content. You’ll lead the way on strategy and engineering, working closely with cross-functional partners to define and execute on some of our biggest bets in Creation, Search, and Generative AI/LLM experiences. You’ll shape and grow your team to deliver on this mission, and shape our technology roadmap to maximize long term results. Success in this role means people from all around the world will succeed in growing and learning!
We’re happy to share that this is an onsite position at our San Francisco office. To help foster team collaboration, we require that employees be in the office at a minimum of three days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and as needed by your manager or the company.
