Technical Writing Internship - Spring 2026

Quindar

Quindar builds modern, cloud-native satellite mission operations software with a simple mission: to operate satellites like servers. Our platform replaces fragmented, legacy ground systems with an integrated, automation-driven approach that brings modern software velocity to space operations.

We're a small, fast-moving team with deep aerospace and software roots, energized by big challenges and motivated by the impact we have on real missions in this next chapter of the Space Age. If you want to work with sharp, ambitious people who push boundaries, move quickly, and are excited to take space operations to the next level, Quindar is the place to do it.

What You’ll Be Doing

Documentation for space software that actually flies.
Quindar is building the next generation of satellite mission operations software—modern, cloud-native systems that replace decades-old ground software. As a Technical Writer Intern working with the Product Management team, you’ll explain how these systems work to the people who depend on them to run real missions in space.

You’ll dig into complex, distributed systems and turn them into clear, structured documentation that operators, engineers, and partners can rely on. Your writing will help teams move faster, operate more confidently, and avoid mistakes when it matters most.

This isn’t passive documentation. You’ll be embedded with product and engineering, learning how features are designed, built, and shipped—and then shaping how those features are understood and used in the real world. In aerospace, great documentation isn’t optional—it’s part of the product.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Documentation:
Write and maintain clear, accurate documentation for product features, workflows, and operational processes supporting satellite missions.

Product Discovery:
Work directly with product managers and engineers to understand system behavior, edge cases, and intended use—then translate that knowledge into usable written content.

User-Focused Writing:
Create documentation that meets users where they are, from satellite operators to software engineers, balancing technical depth with clarity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner across product, engineering, and design to keep documentation aligned with a fast-moving product.

Documentation Systems & Standards:
Help improve how documentation is structured, organized, and maintained as the company and platform scale.

Continuous Improvement:
Identify gaps, unclear sections, or outdated content and proactively improve them.
