Responsibilities
- Lead global sourcing strategies for materials such as cashmere, linen, silk, organic cotton, and leather, balancing localization and scalability.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard Tier 2/Tier 3 material suppliers ensuring quality, speed, and cost targets.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships and segmentation frameworks supporting growth and innovation.
- Create and institutionalize cleansheet/should-cost models to guide pricing negotiations and cost transparency.
- Establish material quality protocols integrating consumer insights and sustainability standards.
- Collaborate with engineering to enhance technology platforms for material costing and procurement automation.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Development, Merchandising, Sourcing, Planning, and Finance teams.
- Build and lead a global materials sourcing and procurement team aligned with company goals.
Education
- Bachelor's degree required.
- MBA or relevant technical degree preferred.
