The Buyer is responsible for executing and evolving the merchandise strategy for their assigned departments, ensuring alignment with brand vision and financial targets across all retail channels (Calvin Klein O&O Outlets, Concept Stores and e-commerce). This individual must have a deep understanding of the Women’s Apparel market, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape. The role requires strong partnership across design, planning, merchandising, allocation, and marketing to deliver an innovative, trend-right assortment that meets financial targets and elevates the Calvin Klein brand.


Responsibilities:

  • ​Build and execute compelling, consumer-centric assortments that meet financial goals and reflect brand priorities
  • Lead all aspects of the product lifecycle: assortment setup, order entry, receipt flow, markdowns, and inventory reconciliation
  • Analyze and react to business trends, providing clear, strategic recommendations based on data, insights, and experience
  • Partner with design and global merchandising to influence seasonal line plans and product development
  • Collaborate with planning and allocation to optimize inventory flow and distribution strategies across channels
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and seasonal business recaps, identifying opportunities and risk mitigation strategies to senior leadership and cross functional partners
  • Visit stores regularly to assess assortment performance, gain field feedback, and identify opportunities to improve execution
  • Maintain a pulse on competitive landscape and emerging trends through market and digital research
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure alignment and execution

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of retail buying experience, preferably in Women’s Apparel
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Strong assortment planning and product acumen
  • Consumer-first mindset with strategic and analytical thinking
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Lighthouse/Microstrategy
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Solution-oriented with strong product instincts. Brings forward creative ideas to solve business challenges and seize new opportunities. Able to balance intuition with data to drive results
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, product-focused culture. Requires agility, attention to detail, and proactive ownership

Pay Range:$80,150---$113,700

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. PVH is committed to providing a market-competitive total rewards package to eligible associates, which includes diverse and robust health and insurance benefits to meet the varied needs of our associates and an above-market 401(k) contribution to help our associates save for retirement. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible.
