- Proven technical team management with hands-on development experience
- Deep expertise in Linux kernel or protocol development for storage/networking/servers
- Strong knowledge of storage/network technologies such as NVMe, NFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, SCSI
- Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting for automation
- Experience with Agile development, CI/CD, and release management
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing software team focused on Linux kernel development, hardware enablement, and NVMe fabric protocols.
- Own delivery and execution of Purity software releases, creating detailed plans and ensuring milestones are met with Program and Release Management.
- Define and implement CI strategies and phased execution plans for complex platform features to ensure quality and predictable delivery.
- Manage technical integrations with partners and vendors, ensuring third-party components are successfully integrated into the platform.
- Translate business objectives into technical strategies that improve platform performance, stability, and customer impact.
- Maintain hands-on involvement in software architecture and development while providing technical leadership and direction.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred but not required
